Description

MODEL MEATS, INC., located at 112 Main Street, Watrous, SK is looking for one (1) full-time and permanent Butcher (NOC 6331) to be assigned to the said location.

As Butcher, the successful applicant is expected to perform the following duties

Cut, trim, and otherwise prepare standard cuts of meat for sale at self-serve counters or according to customers' orders

Grind meats and slice cooked meats using powered grinders and slicing machines

Prepare special displays of meat

Shape, lace and tie roasts and other meats and may wrap prepared meats

Manage inventory, keep records of sales and determine amount, product line and freshness of products according to company and customer requirements

Ensure food storage conditions are adequate

May supervise other butchers, or meat cutters

The chosen candidates will receive a wage of CAD$ 15.00 per hour. All federal and Saskatchewan mandated benefits will be provided.

Qualifications:

     Completion of secondary school is required.

     Relevant work experience is an asset.
