Seeking 2 dynamic, energetic RN(NP)s to join our busy clinical services and work flexible hours to meet clients needs. Hours for both positions to be negotiated.
In-depth knowledge of nursing/ legal authority & autonomy to order diagnostic tests, prescribe pharmaceuticals, perform specific procedures primarily in the management and treatment of reproductive/sexual health care delivered to women, men and individuals identifying as LGBTQ. The treatment and management of other health conditions may be required or referred to the appropriate care provider.
Minimum three (3) years experience as a Nurse Practitioner with experience in providing reproductive health care including the management and treatment of reproductive/sexual health care (e.g., IUD consults & inserts; STI management; pregnancy testing: birth control education and prescriptions; emergency contraception; counseling for pregnancy options; referrals to community agencies; an understanding the legalities and protocols for sexual assault or child abuse and referrals; etc.).
A Masters degree from an approved Nurse Practitioner Education Program is preferred.  A combination of education and NP experience greater than 3 years in the area of reproductive/sexual health will be considered.
Is knowledgeable about community development, sexual diversity, health issues among vulnerable populations, cultures and traditions.
