Needed: Caregiver for a Young Child
NOC Code: 4411
Employment Terms: Full-time - Permanent
Salary: $13.26/hour for 40 hours per week, some overtime is necessary
Skills requirements:
Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent.
Experience: Previous child-care experience is an asset but not required
Work setting & Location: In a private home located in Lashburn, SK
Work location information: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is not a condition of employment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare and serve nutritious meals for children
Attend to the personal cleanliness of every child
Take children to and from school or school bus stops, appointments and park
Help children with homework
Organize, activities such as games, reading and outings for children to provide amusement and exercise
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Shop for food and household supplies
Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
Perform other related duties as required
