Grain Millers is one of North America's premier Oat Milling companies that supplies customers in the bakery, wholesale and retail markets across Canada, U.S.A. and World wide.
We are accepting applications for individuals to join our production team primarily in our Retail Packaging department.
Duties include:
-operating a complex Automated Packaging Line in a food grade warehouse
- troubleshoot equipment by reading,understanding and sourcing problems in the automated equipment as noted on control screens
-operating a forklift as required
This dept works Mon-Fri 24 hrs, rotating 8 hr shifts.(days, afternoon, nights) Applicant must be flexible and available for working this shift. The successful candidate must have grade 12 or equivalent and be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Experience in a food handling facility would be an asset.
The ideal candidate will have no allergies to grain or dust.
Some heavy lifting may be required on occasion.
