ULS is looking for a Class 1A or 3A+G Truck Driver for our Saskatoon office. Responsible for providing driving services to our various work sites in and around Saskatoon, and performing a variety of tasks in the construction of landscapes as well as winter snow operations.
This position will be a seasonal contract for our winter/snow season, ending April 2018, with potential to continue with ULS after.
Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service
Proper loading and driving of trucks and trailers
Haul snow during winter season
Overseeing hazard assessments and completing equipment pre and post trip inspections
Overall quality assurance on delivery and completion of tasks
Additional tasks as required
Basic/Required Qualifications
Minimum High School Diploma
Minimum 3 years of previous experience in a similar driving/operator role
Valid Saskatchewan Class 1A or 3A+G endorsement Drivers License and proof of drivers abstract
Exceptional customer service skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
Ability to maintain simple records and make verbal reports
Legally authorized to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
Previous landscaping, snow removal/hauling and/or construction experience is an asset
Ability to take direction, work independently as well as part of a team
Ability to maintain composure and be a role model
Motivated and energetic team player with an attention to detail and great work ethic
Punctual and dependable

Operating a variety of heavy equipment and tools
Ability to regularly lift weights of up to 50 lbs
