VP Finance Wanted

A mid-sized engineering and construction business with multiple locations across the prairies seeks a motivated problem solver to help run the business successfully.

If in addition to completing all the day-to-day accounting and financial management duties you are intrigued by what makes a business successful and are driven to find ways to improve it - this may be an opportunity for you.

The position will report directly to the President.  It replaces a retiring Controller.  Qualifications include a CA/CPA or a CMA with ten or more years of experience.  Responsibilities include all the regular accounting and controller functions like; A/R, A/P, statements, financial planning, forecasting, budgets, key performance indicator tracking, etc., but it will also include collaboration with the individual operating departments to maximize business performance in all areas.  Preference will be given to candidates with an entrepreneurial spirit and experience using job management and costing software platforms.
