Description

As a front desk agent you will be an integral part of a team that delivers the highest quality of service excellence.  You thrive in a fast paced environment and are highly adaptive to the diverse needs of our customers. This position requires you to work days,evenings, weekends & holidays.  The role is diverse as you will check in/out guests with utmost efficiency, accurate posting of accounts, soliciting guest feedback, reservations, etc.
Responsibilities
    Check in/check out guests ensuring standards are maintained throughout arrival and departure process
    Receive methods of payments and posting accurately to proper accounts
    Ensuring shift check lists are complete
    Professional communication with all departments
    Answering switchboard and transferring of calls as required
    Confident and knowledgeable about the city and events in order to assist guests with inquiries
    Handle all guest concerns/opportunities and offer solutions (ensure all being communicated in hotel systems)
    Take reservations and modify reservations as needed in a timely and efficient manner
    Assisting guests in a personable professional manner
    Follow up on all requests to ensure guest satisfaction

Qualifications

    Previous Hotel Front Desk Experience preferred or Hospitality Management Certificate/Diploma
    Excellent communication & organizational skills    
    Professionalism    
    Comfortable with computer programs and software    
    Ability to multi task and work well under pressure    
    Ability to problem solve


This position will be part time until Christmas and thereafter will be full time as long as you have open availability with adaptability of working various shifts (mornings, mid shift, evenings, weekends and some graveyard shifts as necessary).
