Description

The Meadow Lake Tribal Council (MLTC) is seeking a dynamic, motivated individuals for a two (2) Two Year Term Positions of Mental Health/Wellness Therapists. The Mental Health/Wellness Therapists will work closely with the develping MLTC Wellness Team, the Community Wellness & CISM (Critical Incident) Teams & Community Health Directors or designated coordinators. Your considerable experience & primary role will support the needs for community members in crisis, at risk, or requiring generalist or specialist care as a Mental Health and Wellness Therapist.
DUTIES: Provide clinical training & feedback to a potential range of 1st & 2nd level counsellors
-Manage &/or support during crisis situations; deliver direct crisis & clinical counselling to clients
-Provide workshops & trianing on relatable issues
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a Master's Degree in Mental Health & Welness, Social Work or Psychology
-Minimum of 5 years as a certified clinical counsellor
-Minimum of 5 years experience in therapeutic counselling
SKILLS/ABILITIES/CHARACTERISTICS: Must be able to work under pressure ang high demands/stress
-Must possess strong leadership and teamwork skills
-Able to speak the Cree &/or Dene language is a definite asset
