Job Description: This position is responsible for developing educational processes and organizing presentations of these programs for staff at Providence Place.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA) or Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS)
Experience working with geriatric clients would be considered an asset
Experience
Previous administration experience, a minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience, experience in geriatric care and previous experience in working providing adult education would all be considered an asset.

Ability to accept and implement change
Ability to assist and develop policies and procedures according to best practices
Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position
Ability to develop and deliver formal education programs
Ability to conduct assessments, prioritize client needs, and develop treatment plans to meet needs regarding treatment with a client and family-centered approach to care
Ability to be proactive, flexible and creative in decision making
Ability to apply research to nursing practice
Ability to manage time and competing deadlines, work under pressure, and establish priorities
Ability and initiative in handling difficult situations resulting in productive outcomes.
Ability to plan, organize and coordinate efforts with other multidisciplinary team members as well as communicate effectively and adapt to changing conditions
