Description

Summary:
The Junior Sales Manager is a highly organized multi-tasker who is goal oriented, with the ability to sell and manage accounts.  The Junior Sales Managers priority is to generate new business, maintain existing clients and accounts for multiple hotels. You must demonstrate outstanding associate and customer relations and will act as a key member of the hotel. Will work closely with the entire sales team, to develop tactical plans to achieve business goals. This role is a role model and leader consistently exhibiting values with guests and associates.
Job Accountabilities/Responsibilities: (Abbreviated)
Responsible for generating revenue in specific market segments for an multiple properties
Attend events, conduct outside sales calls and organize sales missions
Attend regular team meetings in order to set goals and objectives, address concerns and communicate information pertaining to the business goals
Report on and provide regular updates on key performance indicators
Work closely with the Catering, Front Office and Revenue Management team
Education, Experience, & Skills: (Abbreviated)
At least 1 year of hospitality experience or comparable sales experience.
Demonstrated ability to interact in a team environment with several divisions and/or departments
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, listening)
Computer skills and knowledge of various programs, Delphi an asset
Work Conditions:
Interacts/Communicates with guests and fellow associates
Hotel/Office environment
Light to moderate level of physical effort
Moderate to high level of mental effort
High level of sensory attention; sight and hearing
Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
Overtime and travel as required
