Job Purpose
Optimizes subsidiary investments (e.g., Spectra Financial & Affinity Insurance Services) through overseeing the business direction and operations of subsidiaries in support of organizational goals and in alignment with established investment and diversification strategies. Drives the operations of the subsidiaries in line with established strategies, and serves as the main contact for subsidiary activity. Works with new and existing subsidiaries in establishing and developing their sales strategy and operational planning, as well as establishing and monitoring key performance indicators for each subsidiary/agency.
Working Conditions
Because Affinity serves members in communities across Saskatchewan, this position may require the successful candidate to travel between locations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, plus 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced knowledge of property/casualty insurance services and/or wealth management areas of practice, as well as specialized knowledge of subsidiary business models
- Ability to successfully build, empower and focus a team to achieve results
- Ability to lead, engage, and coach employees, set clear expectations, review progress, provide feedback and guidance, and hold people accountable to achieve member centric sales outcomes
- Advanced understanding of Affinity Credit Unions business objectives
Location: This role can work out of any location within our extensive advice centre network across Saskatchewan, our Affinity Campus location in Saskatoon is preferred.
