Description

This opportunity is ideal for someone who likes working with and meeting new people, is a great team player and strong coach. This position is responsible for providing leadership and mentoring to the Member Sales and Service staff while working to provide an excellent membership experience for all members. Organizational skills and ability to effectively multitask is an essential component to success in this position. Experience leading a team in a dynamic and rewarding environment is an asset. The YMCA is a Community and value based non-profit organization and our new director will reflect the values of the YMCA.

Responsibilities:

Overall operation and planning of Member Services, recruitment, scheduling, training and supervision of staff.

Leading a dynamic team of both sales and membership experience staff to ensure membership growth and retention targets are achieved.

Building relationships with all members.

Take leadership in the planning, deployment and evaluation of membership campaigns.

Lead and motivate a team to ensure monthly targets are met.

Monitor and ensure Key Performance Indicators are achieved.

Make decisions and solve problems regarding membership sales and service functions, membership accounts, members concerns, and members behavior with a sense of urgency.

Ensure administrative duties regarding membership accounts and membership department processes are complete.

Working with fellow Membership Directors to produce and implement targeted membership growth and retention strategies.

Mentor, develop and coach staff in the areas of sales, member relations, and problem solving.

Manage department budget.
