Description

If you have an analytical mindset and enjoy working in a collaborative work environment, this may be the role for you. SaskCentrals Finance division is looking for an individual that takes initiative and supports cross functional work teams. Reporting to the Manager, Capital & Liquidity, you will provide technical analysis and reporting for SaskCentrals capital, liquidity, compliance and treasury related functions.

The Job
In this position, you will be required to complete compliance reviews associated with SaskCentrals financial management policy and support the capital and liquidity management functions for the organization. You will support the treasury function and provide timely and accurate technical and financial analysis. As an important part of this role, you will also support the analysis of strategic investees and system partners by gathering information and preparing reports.

The Candidate
You will have a degree in business/commerce and/or solid experience with these functions. You will have advanced knowledge of balance sheet, capital, liquidity and risk management concepts and practices. You will also have working knowledge of accounting policies and regulatory environments (provincial, national and international). Comprehensive knowledge of finance, short-term cash and investment management concepts is required. You will have strong problem solving, research, analytical and communication skills. A minimum of two years experience working in the credit union system and/or financial services sector is required for this position.
