The Opportunity:
Were looking for a confident leader who will have primary responsibility for the overall daily activities of our production staff. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to train, discipline and coach a diverse team of workers. We need an individual with a proven track record in time-management, organization, and the ability to set priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Oversight of 25+ operational and production workers
Leverage people and resources to meet production and shipping deadlines
Ensure the maintenance of a safe and clean work environment
Coach and mentor supervisors to build strong teams that are effective problem solvers
Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and machinery
Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary leadership team
Job Requirements:
Leadership/Supervisory experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
Technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multi-task
Understanding of financial planning, budgeting and reporting in a business setting
