GeoIT needs one Process Safety Engineer to join our service team. The candidate will provide technical support by applying process safety principles, analysis and application of process safety management systems.
Duties:
Administer Management of Change system and facilitate risk assessment sessions.
Facilitate and document Risk Assessment process.
Facilitate incident investigations utilizing Industry leading incident investigation software to document findings and propose corrective measures.
Assist in the analysis of data in regard to process safety in the company and from the natural gas industry as a whole.
Assist in the development and maintenance of Process Safety Key Performance Indicators.
Prioritize, review and follow up on process safety corrective actions and GAPs identified and resources assigned for rectification.
Present Data/Information to wide variety of audiences (Technical, public, and management).
Communicate within a number of departments within the organization to collect information and execute projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in process safety inclusive of Management of Change, Incident Investigation, Risk Evaluation, etc.
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Petroleum, Electrical, Electronic Systems, Chemical or Physics Engineering (or equivalent program)
Background in Oil and Gas Industry in an Engineering role
Experience in using the following software (relevant experience and years of experience relative to each should be clearly stated): Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), Share Point, Lotus Notes
Hold a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan drivers license or equivalent
