We are currently seeking a Journeyperson Welder (Temp 800 hours term) at our Colonsay, SK location. The successful candidate will inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust and maintain mechanical equipment.

What will you be working on?
* Receives instructions covering the scheduled and emergency repair, installation, and inspection work to be done, interprets drawings and sketches.
* Inspects plant equipment for defects. Notes and reports defects in tools and equipment to supervision. Keeps tools, equipment, and working area in a clean and orderly fashion.
* Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded as required. Sets up, assembles and track welds parts, constructing special fixtures as needed. Performs gas and electric welding in all positions. Makes any type and size of weld, such as "V", lap, butt, etc. pre-heating parts as required.
* Builds up worn or defective surfaces. Cleans, grinds, and flame anneals parts and welded parts as required. Uses burning equipment to and from job site as required in connection with work.

What is required for this role?
* High school diploma/GED.
* Journeyman ticket in the Welding trade.
* 1 year experience required.
* Employment is subject to successfully completing Mosaic's pre-employment checks including criminal, drug and alcohol testing.
* Must be authorized to work in Canada.
