Job Description: This position provides services to adults, child and youth in the Rosthern and area. The social worker provides services as a member of a multidisciplinary care team. Specific duties included: individual, family and group counselling. Additional duties include: community engagement and development.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Social Work
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
Experience
Experience providing counselling services within a mental health setting.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Advanced communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Problem solving skills
Knowledge of community development
Access to a reliable vehicle
Ability to travel on a daily basis and have access to a reliable vehicle

Field Hours
Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.  HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.

Knowledge of various mental health disorders, their etiology and optimal plans for treatment and intervention. Clinical experience in a variety of treatment approaches. High degree of comfort in dealing with suicidal ideation, violence and traumas. Ability to work with a variety of individuals presenting with complex issues including but not limited to concurrent disorders. Committment to self evaluation, professional development and ongoing self care.
Geographic Location: LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 70 KMS OUTSIDE OF SASKATO
