Description

As a Project Manager, you will manage all aspects of HVAC/BAS/CCTV/Card Access projects, from beginning to end, with direct responsibility for project execution while leading a team. You will be responsible for the administration, implementation, & management of control projects & accountable for assigned projects scope of work, schedule, & budget. Primary function will be to interface with the customer & manage subcontractors to efficiently & effectively complete the project on time, ahead of schedule & with a satisfied customer.
Responsibilities:
Direct all operations activities including: account management, project management, design engineering, systems installation, commissioning & service delivery activities
Advise management on local operations planning to include resource allocation, hiring & development, financial forecasting, monitoring & issue resolution
Plan & analyze assigned projects, establish schedules & project parameters & set procedures to accomplish system objectives, involving complex contracting applications
Communicate with customers & their representatives, including building owners, mechanical contractors, subcontractors, & field support staff
Responsible for project cash-flow management: progress billing, collections support, monitoring, & resource management
Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, & communicating with customers & assigned staff
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preference will be given to those with Professional Designation, P.Eng.)
Minimum of 3-5 years of HVAC/Building Automation/CCTV/Card Access/Security project management experience
Strong experience in resource/manpower planning & team leadership of multiple technicians & engineers & strong financial & business acumen & a history of running projects on time and on budget
