Description

Scope:
The Admin Assistant will aid the Nursing Supervisor with administrative duties she/he will also implement the philosophy and goals of Hopes Home.  They create an environment that has great communication, organized, supportive and proactive.
Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:
    Business Certificate or Diploma
    Discretion and trustworthy.
    Flexibility and adaptability.
    Good oral and written communication skills.
    Organized and time efficient.
    Possess the ability to handle mentally demanding and challenging tasks


Mandate:
Under the direction of the Nursing Supervisor, the Admin Assistant shall:
    Act as the first point of contact for the centre.
    Managing schedules, organizing meetings and appointments.
    Booking and arranging meetings; transportation and accommodation.
    Organizing meetings and conferences.
    Reminding supervisor of important tasks and deadlines.
    Typing, compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence.
    Managing database and filing systems
    Implementing and maintaining procedure and administrative systems.
    Liaising with staff, support teams and clients.
    Collating and filing expenses.
    Miscellaneous tasks to support manager, which will vary day to day
    Maintain a collaborative working relationship with each member of the Hopes Home team, outside agencies, and community services.
    Participation in on-going professional development training and staff meetings
    Adhere to all policies and procedures of Hopes Home.
    Holds the ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing solutions.
