Description

The Executive Director (ED) is responsible for successful leadership and fiscal management of The Core Neighbourhood Youth Co-op (CNYC). The ED is also responsible for creating and managing new initiatives, enhancing and administering existing programs as well as developing and maintaining external stakeholder relations.

The ED is responsible for maximizing fundraising, overseeing communications, and supervising staff by drawing on the incumbent's leadership skills as well as their varied and extensive experience in the following areas:
Operational Planning and Management
Strategic Program Planning and Management
Human Resources Planning and Management
Financial Planning and Management
Communications Planning and Management
Reporting Relationships

The ED reports directly to the CNYC Board of Directors and specifically to the Chair of the Board. Informal communication channels are mainly through email and a written activity report is required for presentation at the monthly board meetings.
