Venables Machine Works Ltd. is in the Custom Machining & Fabrication industry. We started operating in 1931 and serve the Agriculture, Mining, Utilities & Oil & Gas industries, to name a few.
At Venables, our Office Administrators have many different duties. Some of these duties include Telephone Switchboard, Receptionist, Data Input, Bookkeeping, HR Administration and Document Filing. The Bookkeeping duties include administration of A/R, A/P and some payroll duties. At Venables, we all do what needs to be done, so assisting in organizing of staff functions and making sure the coffee machine is full may be part of your duties.
Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 4:30.
We have a half hour off for lunch & two 15 minute coffee breaks per day. Employees earn 3 weeks of Vacation Pay per year and increases will be as designated by Sask. Labour.
Venables is located in the North Industrial area. There is no charge street parking and dress is casual.
Qualifications include all of the following:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
- Data Entry experience, attention to detail
- 3-5 years experience in an administrative role
- Positive attitude, flexible and willing to learn
- Background in HR, some secondary education and basic accounting knowledge would be an asset and would receive preference.
