We are looking for a Breakfast Bar Attendant to work day shifts on weekends and/or weekdays.
MUST HAVE FOOD SAFETY CERTIFICATE.
- Prepares and serves the daily complimentary
breakfast bar, greets each guest and ensures
guests are satisfied.
- Self-starter and works with minimal supervision
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests.
- Ability to stand and move throughout the
breakfast / kitchen area and continuously perform essential job functions.
- Ability to access and accurately input orders
for food items and other products.
- Ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations and/or hectic situations and react calmly and sensibly under such conditions.
Breakfast Bar Attendant Position is available immediately.
Dishwashing Skills
- Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
- Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units
- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware

Counter Attendant and Food Preparer Skills
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars
- Portion and wrap foods
- Keep records of the quantities of food used
- Prepare, heat and finish simple food items
Work Setting
- Hotel
Kitchen Helping Skills
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash
- Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
- Handle and store cleaning products
- Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
- Sweep and mop floors
Bussing Skills
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
- Load buspans and trays
- Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
Weight Handling
- Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
