The NORTHGATE D.Q. Grill and Chill restaurant is
looking for mature and responsible person to work
in our fast paced business. We have an
employment opportunity for a candidate that
demonstrate the following skills and abilities.
Main duties of the job include: Execute all
customer service operations and run a cake program, ensuring all prepared
products meet restaurant standards of quality and
excellence. Decorating experience would be an asset but is not necessary. All training will be provided. Assemble and present completed treat
orders, including stocking, cleaning and
maintaining all customer areas in a clean, safe
and pleasant manner and ensure they meet all
restaurant safety and health code standards.
Process customer transactions and maintain an
accurate cash drawer throughout shifts. Assemble
and deliver orders to customers quickly and
efficiently. Properly and safely operate and
maintain restaurant equipment including related
chill and cake equipment.
The hours will require a flexible
schedule and will primarily include day shifts however during certain situations evening and weekend
shifts might be required.
The successful candidate must exhibit the
following experience and skills: Good manners,
proper personal hygiene, positive attitude and
promptness. Perform under high pressure in a high
volume restaurant including moving and responding
quickly for long periods of time. Must be able to
interact with the public and co-workers constantly
during shifts. Clean up all kinds of messy
situations. Must be able to work in and out of
various temperature ranges. Handle food/drinks
/treat products constantly. Ability to lift up to
50 pounds.
