Reporting to the Regional Manager of the Insurance Unit, you will provide leadership to staff on Crop Insurance and AgriStability programs, along with the initiatives and customer service techniques.
Provide technical agricultural information to staff and customers.
Answer customer inquiries in a timely and knowledgeable manner in order to provide excellent customer service.
Co-ordinate and participate in the annual sales of the program.
Serve on a variety of internal/external committees and task teams to promote and review agricultural issues.
Conduct meetings with office and adjusting staff, ensure that the team is kept up-to-date on all policy, procedural and adjusting changes.
Develop and operate within a determined budget.
Manage and supervise various staffing activities using the Coaching for Results program including selecting new staff, conducting performance appraisals, assessing training needs for staff (adjusters and office), attending all training sessions organized for staff by Head Office personnel, and conducting regular training sessions on problem areas as well as seasonal updates.
Co-ordinate the assigning, completion and checking of all field work; ensure policies and procedures are followed.
Utilize written and verbal communication skills in order to provide detailed correspondence and reports to the Regional Manager and Head Office.
