General Duties:
- Responsibility for document preparation and file management in a legal setting
- Dealing with clients and the public on a consistent and professional basis
- General office duties such as phone, reception, and clerical
Skills & Abilities:
- strong time management and problem solving abilities
- ability to think independently with particular attention to detail and accuracy
- proficient in Word, Outlook and Windows environment
- familiarity with office equipment such as scanner, photocopier, Dictaphone, facsimile
-experience/knowledge of real estate and online process associated with ISC and corporations branch is an asset; familiarity with PCLaw or other accounting software is also an asset
-preference will be given to candidates with experience in a law firm environment and some post-secondary training in office /paralegal/administration although a combination of experience and training will be considered
