DUTIES:
Under the direction of the Best of Batoche Committee, the Coordinator will be responsible for the overall coordination and planning for the 2018, Best of Batoche event. The celebration will be held from July 19, 2018 to July 23rd, 2018 in Batoche. Some of the specific duties include:
- Develop an event agenda;
- Schedule entertainment and events;
- Work with existing event sponsors and obtain new sponsors;
- Plan and assist in the organization of service providers and suppliers to the event;
- Complete tender requests and work with the committee to appoint service providers for various event functions;
- Take camping reservations and organize camping areas;
- Work closely with sub-committees;
- Promote and advertise event;
- Liaise with stakeholders and partners of the event;
- Conduct fund raising activities;
- Monitor and adhere to event budgets;
- Complete final reports and reports for funding partners;
- Assist committee to hire and appoint staff as required for the event and;
- Any other duties that may be assigned by the committee. Work under the supervision of the Committee chair. All activities and planning shall be approved by the Committee.
- All finances shall be administered by the Committee Financial Officer.
- All Candidates must be bondable and be able to successfully pass a CPIC
