Description

We are currently searching for a CAD/CAM Engineering Technologist with CNC manufacturing or fabricating experience for our ever-increasing busy facility. You will develop applications using CAD/CAM for the control of CNC machines, robots and other manufacturing processes and operations. You enjoy working hands-on, excel at problem solving, and take pride in a job well done.

Responsibilities:
    Coordinate project drawings with managers, CAD staff, and ensure project needs are met in a timely and effective manner
    Create design concepts and design solutions
    Ensure quality of work by using various measurement methods and equipment
    Responsible for daily operations, continuous improvement, machine process and production in a manufacturing/metal fabrication environment
    Addresses customer complaints, conducts investigations, developing root cause analysis, countermeasures and documentation
    Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results as needed

Qualifications:
    Must have outstanding punctuality and attendance
    Highly focused and capable of paying close attention to detail
    Ability to work according to production schedules and deadlines both individually and collaboratively
    Must possess strong problem solving and communication skills as well as the ability to handle changing demands
    Experienced utilizing computer based software
    Strong interpersonal skills including written and verbal English
    Metal Fabrication experience would be an asset
