The Opportunity:
The Co-operators is looking for a Systems Security Access Administrator in the Information Technology department. The work location for this role is flexible to Regina, SK or Guelph, ON. This is approximately a 6 month term position.
The Systems Security Access Administrator is responsible for all security account administration tasks such as defining users, granting access and revoking privileges of both internal and external users of computing resources and applications. The incumbent monitors, responds to, and manages access requests and problem reports from tracking and request systems, and provides first and second level support for clients and Help Desk.
Your Qualifications:
-Diploma or degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
-Knowledge of security requirements within a complex IT environment
-Experience with desktop and server operating systems
-Experience with Active Directory administration, Excel and Access
-Ability to communicate clearly using all mediums within the team and business areas
-Able to demonstrate consistently a Customer Focus attitude, be able to communicate with business and technical staff
-Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
-Highly self-motivated and directed
-Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
-The successful candidate shall be subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as a condition of employment
