Insightrix Research is expanding our team.

The Business Systems Support Analyst is part of a team providing technical application support for various internal business applications and systems. This role includes analyzing and troubleshooting incidents and problems. This role also includes proactive IT support of backend processes including system monitoring and alerting.

Successful candidates will possess a keen interest for problem solving, creative thinking, being an active member of a self-motivated and enthusiastic team and  providing critical skills to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of mission critical IT infrastructure and data assets.


Duties:

Front Line technical support to internal users for applications and hardware
Backend support for servers and network
Deployment and maintenance of computers
Providing insight into technologies required for development activities, and direction into future technology strategies
Responsible for input on various projects across multiple departments with respect to technology architecture
Reporting and auditing activities
On-call support

Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience..
Experience supporting business applications and/or processes.
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to communicate with both business and technical partners.
Ability to document solutions in a clear and concise manner, based on the intended audience .
The successful candidate shall be subject to a Criminal Record as a condition of employment.
Legally Entitled to work in Canada.
Ideally 2 -5 years of relevant experience managing a complex network.
Experience with ISO 27001 is highly desirable.
