On behalf our client, we are seeking an Experienced Installation & Service Technician with 3 years of experience. This is a fast paced job design wherein the tasks and working environment change daily ranging from construction sites to established businesses.
Duties and Skills:
- install and maintain electronic door systems, automatic operators, commercial doors, and related hardware
- source work orders from awarded tenders and established customers
- good working knowledge of electrical systems is necessary along with an understanding of commercial doors and building supplies
- have a mechanical aptitude and experience working with power tools
- customer service skills are an asset to help maintain our long-term customer base
- carpentry/glazing experience (aluminum door installation)
- tools - basic hand tools, drill, impact (client may be able to provide
- PPE - vest, hard hat, steel toed boots, safety glasses
- heavy lifting - up to 250 lbs. (assisted by another person)
- working with glass
- low voltage electrical (running cable)
- must be reliable, good attention to detail, hardworking, able to work with minimal supervision
