The Position:
The successful applicant will join one of our project teams developing software for systems that include real-time equipment control, complex proprietary communication protocols, high-availability/scalable architectures and graphical user interfaces featuring sophisticated real-time updates and complex data visualizations. SED software developers experience all phases of the lifecycle. Developers are regularly tasked with solving complex, challenging problems & succeed through continual learning and the application of modern, proven technologies. Through the development and delivery of complex systems on time, on budget & containing the exact features our customers need, SED developers are able to acquire the skill set needed to tackle sophisticated software challenges within dynamic project environments, all while providing top quality customer service.
The Person:
- A four-year degree in Computer Science, or a three-year Computer Science degree combined with an Electrical Engineering or Engineering Physics degree
- The ability to integrate well into a team environment, to quickly solve complex problems, and to easily adapt to new technologies
- Proficiency in Java or C++
The ability to obtain a Secret security clearance and meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the Canadian Controlled Goods Program is mandatory.
