Reporting to the CAO, the Foreman is responsible for coordinating the overall operations of the municipal public works including Transportation, Environmental Health, Utility Services, town property & equipment. This position involves developing & implementing annual maintenance programs & work scheduling. Preference will be given to candidates who:
1. Have previous experience directing personnel & operating equipment in an urban municipality.
2. Possess Water Treatment Class 2, Water Distribution Class 1, & Wastewater Treatment & Collection Certification.
3. Have strong skills in communication & planning.
4.Has computer experience; specifically with MS Office and email
5.This position will be 25% office and 75% hands on.
6. Must be willing to relocate to Herbert on a permanent basis.
