Description

The Town of Herbert is currently accepting applications for the position of Office Assistant.  The successful candidate must have exceptional public relations skills, office and computer training, or experience and a pleasant telephone manner.  Experience with Munisoft is an asset for this position.  This position involves assisting the Administrator in carrying out the duties of Assessor, Clerk, Treasurer and Vital Statistics Registrar of the Town.  This position offers benefits including enrollment in the Municipal Employees Pension Plan.  Salary is negotiable, but will commensurate with the applicant's experience and training.  This position will be classed as permanent part-time (approximately 24 hours per week from Wednesday to Friday).
