Description

Bourgault Industries is looking for a motivated, hands-on Production Engineer or Technologist to join our team in St. Brieux, SK!

Basic Purpose:  
To oversee and manage all aspects of Standard work and Standard Times, coordinating with all divisions to fulfill the main objectives of Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost.

Responsibilities:
-    Work with Administration, Maintenance, Production, Training Department, R&D, and/or Manufacturing Engineering to assist and/or create, document, edit and manage all types of standard work.  This includes investigating discrepancies in technical information and achieving consensus on Standard Work.
-    To assist in managing and auditing of Standard Work documents.
-    To assist in managing all policies, recommending changes and assisting in implementation of policies, procedures and standard work guidelines.
-    To assist in creating and performing auditing procedures for standard work and reporting of results.
-    To assist in creation, testing, managing of all information in the form of Policy, procedures, templates and software used for Standard Times.  This includes technical gathering, analysis, and communications of results found for all aspects of Standard Times.
-    To assist and perform Standard Time Reviews when a request is received.  This includes reviewing of the current Standard Work and determining if standard times are inaccurate and if so determining root cause.
-    To assign Standard Times to new items in new product bulletins as required.

Skills & Knowledge Required:
-    Technical or Engineering background is an asset.
-    Strong computer skills (including a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word).
-    Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
-    Strong Team building and collaboration skills.
