Regina's finest hotel, the DoubleTree by Hilton is currently recruiting for a full-time permanent Sales Manager to join our team of sales and catering professionals.
Reporting to the Director of Sales, this position is primarily responsible for proactively sourcing business in multiple market segments including associations, government, union and tour markets. Our ideal candidate will have evidence of proven success in a sales role. As a relationship builder, you pride yourself on your savvy networking skills and driving customer loyalty by delivering exemplary service to each client.
Some primary duties include:
- generate leads by contacting and servicing key target accounts
- prepare proposals, rate negotiations, block space, processing of contracts and following up to secure the business
- participate in relevant trade shows and promotional events
- conducts site inspections for clients
- compiles and analyzes reports to meet overall results and goals
- analyze market research data to identify trends and opportunities to increase revenues and market share
- ensure customer concerns are addressed in timely and professional manner and follow the "make it right" formula
- action planning and other key deliverables will also be required
