RAM Industries has an opening for a full time Maintenance Person.

The Maintenance Person will perform electrical & mechanical maintenance & repairs on equipment & facilities at our Yorkton SK operation. This position plays a key role ensuring production lines are continuously running in order to meet output objectives & customer delivery commitments.

RAM equipment includes a range of CNC controlled lathe & machining centers, welders, hydraulic high pressure testing equipment, a paint line system, overhead cranes, & general machine shop & manufacturing equipment.

Duties:
- Performing scheduled preventative maintenance, breakdown & repairs as required & making recommendations as to the extent of repairs
  required & suggestions for improvements
- Diagnosing & troubleshooting machine, hydraulic & pneumatics equipment issues in a timely & safe manner
- Installing or relocating equipment
- Providing periodic support to building maintenance needs (ex: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.)

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal
- Ability to use the time available to organize and complete work within given deadlines
- Ability to read schematic drawings to repair equipment
- Ability to practice good housekeeping practices within all work areas
- Past experience working independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of workplace safety
- Possess a strong command of the English language (read, write, speak)
- Ability to work at higher elevations (on ladders & lifts)

Preference is for candidates with at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar position & work environment.  Past training or certification in a related technical trade (i.e. millwright, service technician, mechanic) is an asset.
