Assignment and Term: This position is a temporary part-time position of 5.5 hours per school days at Columbia School. The position commences February 1, 2018 and expires on June 28, 2018.

Qualifications:  Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent. The candidate will have acute attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility and the ability to work as a team member will be considered assets.

Duties include: work closely with students to meet their diverse learning goals; provide assistance to students with mobility needs and/or who require personal care; assist the classroom teacher to support learning with all students in the classroom; maintain strict confidentiality of all information pertaining to a child, classroom and the school; and perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or designate and those listed in Job Description - Educational Assistant.

Salary and Benefits:  The successful candidate will be paid on a monthly basis in accordance with the current out of scope board approved salary grid.
