The Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) is a unique, multi-billion dollar organization based on the fundamental principles of co-operation. It is comprised of a network of approximately 250 autonomous retail co-operatives across Western Canada along with their branch operations, and Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL). FCL is the wholesaling/manufacturing arm of the CRS, which provides the retail co-ops with a range of products and services.

Beeland Co-op invites applications for the position of Temporary Part Time Lumber Yard Clerk (approximate 6-month term) at our Beeland Co-op Lumber department located in Tisdale, Saskatchewan.  This term position is expected to last March through August, 2018.

Reporting to the Lumber Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following:

-Provide information, assistance and customer service in a friendly and courteous way
-Assist in the unloading and be responsible for the proper storage of a variety of building materials
-Ensure the safe transfer of material being shipped including securely strapping down loads, use of band clips or protective covering on sensitive material
-Safely operate lumber related equipment such as power saws
-Ensure yard housekeeping standards are maintained
