ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Performs minor and major repair of all buildings and equipment. (Major repairs are performed under the supervision of licensed maintenance workers.)
Performs preventive maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis; inspects belts, checks fluid levels, replaces filters, seals, etc.; repairs or replaces broken parts.
Inspects boiler; treats water with proper chemicals.
Completes daily, weekly and monthly checks on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
Must learn settings of all control panels including temperature panel.
Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.
Performs yard maintenance duties for Home Help clients such as snow removal, lawn care, window and eve trough cleaning as required and assists Home Help and Marketing Coordinator in scheduling of same.
Assures timely snow removal and maintenance of RSCC building entrances.
Obtains estimates for supplies, repair parts; orders parts as needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervision over maintenance workers.
