The Rural Municipality of Indian Head No. 156 is accepting applications for an experienced full-time, permanent, working Outside Supervisor.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Administrator and Council and will oversee day to day activities of the roads and operators.
The applicant must have knowledge of equipment, a mechanical aptitude and experience with heavy equipment such as Graders, Tractors, etc. Road Building and Road Maintenance skills are essential.
The successful candidate will act in an advisory position to Council on all current and/or future road work and maintenance.
Must have at least a class 5 drivers license, 1A an asset, strong leadership, supervisory and communication skills, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, able to supervise operators, excellent record keeping and be willing to take further education/training.The Outside Supervisor will be also responsible for doing weekly safety meetings.
Duties include (but not limited to) grading, mowing, snow removal, installation of signs and culverts, equipment servicing, repairs, ordering products and maintaining inventories.
A salary package, including competitive benefits/pension plan, will be negotiated based on qualifications at the time of hire.
