OTV Technologies is looking for a service technician that is career oriented, passionate and driven in the area of computer repair and maintenance. Someone that has experience with virus + malware removal as well as hardware + software diagnostics.
This includes the complete troubleshooting of all major components and software troubleshooting such as POST issues, OS issues, BSOD issues, data recovery and more.
We strive to provide fast, friendly and knowledgeable customer service. This requires the ability to resolve hardware and software related issues in a timely manner, mainly within a windows environment. Addressing customers questions via phone, email, remotely and in person as well as maintaining ongoing rapport with the client is a part of the service technicians daily duties.

Previous technical experience and an understanding of computer hardware and how they work is an asset. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English (verbal & written) is essential.

Essential skills and abilities:
- Knowledge of current Microsoft software platforms and applications (ie: Windows Vista/7/8/8.1/10)
- Knowledge of current hardware components (1151,2066,DDR4,SSD,etc)
- Ability to diagnose HDD/SSD, CPU, RAM, MOBO, PSU and all other components
- Strong knowledge of the programs used to troubleshoot windows issues and hardware issues
- strong time management and multitasking abilities
- ability to work alone and problem solve on your own in a fast-paced environment
- effective research skills
- decision making and critical thinking skills
