The Lyric Theatre is seeking a highly motivated, skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of General Manager. The position manages all aspects of theatre operations, including staff, and assists the Board of Directors to ensure the efficient execution of the programs and activities of the Lyric Theatre. A strong candidate would demonstrate the following competencies;
Highly effective time management and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
Proficiency in the use of computer programs and software, and the use of office equipment.
Knowledge of management principles as they relate to non-profit/voluntary organizations.
Knowledge of marketing principles, and how to effectively execute a marketing strategy.
The ability to maintain neat and accurate records, experience with basic accounting procedures.
Experience in employee management.
A background in arts administration is an asset.
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Starting Salary: $50,000 annually
Start Date: March 1, 2018
