Description

The CRC, located in Regina, SK, is currently recruiting for Semi-Skilled General Labourers for approximately 3 to 7 weeks for the upcoming maintenance Turnaround.  Turnaround is a massive annual project in which major portions of the Refinery are shut down for maintenance and inspections that can only be performed when the Refinery is inactive.  Because parts of the Refinery are not operating during Turnaround, it is an intense period where work must safely and correctly be completed in a relatively short timeframe.

Training is provided and will begin as early as February  March 2018, with the first day on site to follow.  Candidates must be available to work days, evenings, and weekends and would be expected to complete the full term.

Responsibilities for these positions include, but are not limited to, assisting the various trade sections within the Refinery and performing other duties as assigned during the maintenance Turnaround.

Successful candidates will be mechanically inclined with preference given to those candidates with previous experience in an industrial work environment with a valid Construction Safety Training System (CSTS), Safety Construction Orientation Training (SCOT) or Petroleum Safety Training (PST) certificate. Due to the nature of the work, a positive safety attitude is required.
As these positions are safety sensitive, all applicants will be required to successfully complete a drug and alcohol test and will require a valid criminal record check. The completion of CRCs orientation and training programs will also be required prior to the first day on site.
