We are looking for a caring and nurturing person to fill a casual house mother position at our residential group homes in Regina. The house mother [HM] is a member of the team family within the unit and works with everyone to maintain a nurturing, structured, safe, and comforting environment. The house mother maintains the household standards for cleanliness, the quality of the food, supplies, and the effective use of the household budget.
Starting hourly range is $18.54 to $23.96 depending on relevant education and experience.
Qualifications
Education
Senior matriculation with some specialized courses in Food Handling, cooking, and any other communication or social sciences classes.
Experience
Experience in working with youth.
Require 2-3 years of cooking for large groups or commercial experience. Some related residential or youth care experience would be an asset.
Must hold a class 5 novice 2 or higher drivers license and be eligible for coverage under our commercial auto insurance policy.
