This position offers unique opportunities to advance through multiple avenues, competitive wage schedules and training opportunities. Expected duties include but are not limited to: Operation of Heavy equipment: grader, loader, street sweeper,mowers, etc. Operation of Public Swimming Pool Boilers and Chemical Feeders and Operation of Water Treatment and Distribution systems and Sewage Treatment and Collection Facilities. Required to participate in on call rotation. Must be willing to obtain water and wastewater operator certification plus other training and certificates required to perform the duties of the position. On the job training will be provided as required. Preference will be given to applicants who possess certification for Heavy Equipment operation, Water and Wastewater operation,and/or Post-secondary trades. Beginning wage is negotiable depending on level of experience and qualification possessed by the applicant. Provisions are in place for future wage increases based on training and qualifications obtained by the employee.

- Spread sand or salt on sidewalks for snow or ice control

- Clean and maintain sidewalks, streets, roads and public grounds
- Assist in routine maintenance and repair of equipment
- Assist equipment operators to secure attachments to equipment or truck
