Regina Public Schools requires several full time Head Facility Technicians. As the front line facilities representative you will be responsible for the day to day operations of the school.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Building systems operations, repairs and preventative maintenance
Year-round grounds keeping, including snow removal, grass cutting and playground maintenance
Positions will also be responsible set-up and take-down of furnishings for daily events
Providing customer service to the school administration
Provided caretaking services for assigned areas and responding to emergent cleaning requirements
Provide supervision, guidance and support to assigned caretaking staff
To qualify for this position, you must possess the following credentials:
Fifth Class Steam Engineering Certificate
A valid 5th Class Saskatchewan Drivers License
Physical abilities to provide heavy lifting, crawlspace and roof inspections, snow removal etc.
The position must also be prepared to obtain employer provided training in:
Mobile powered equipment
Safety such as WHIMS, Fall protection
Computer programs such as Purchase Card reconciliation, Planned Preventive Maintenance and Service Request systems.
