Grain Millers is one of North America's premier Oat Milling companies that supplies customers across Canada, U.S.A. and Worldwide. We are seeking an energetic individual to join our Administration team as a Commodity Procurement Clerk at our Canadian division located in Yorkton, Sask.
Reporting directly to the Grain Procurement Mgr. this position will encompass various accounting functions such as: generates, verifies and distributes all contracts for the purchase of grain,including confirming contract signage, pricing and verifying organic certification. You will also accurately update oat purchases and by-product sales positions on a daily basis. Responding directly to Producer inquiries and providing excellent customer service is also required. This position will also be responsible for reception duties, customer support and general office administration.
The ideal candidate will possess Grade XII education with post secondary education in an accounting or business field in conjunction 2 years experience.
Proficient in basic accounting skills, and the ability to calculate figures and amounts. The candidate should have advanced computer proficiency with strong communication, organizational and analytical skills. The successful applicant should have proven experience in customer support and general office administration. Must be able to work in an environment that exposes staff to allergens, specifically grain or grain dust.
