Our manufacturing company has an opening for an Accounting Clerk.
The Accounting Clerk will be an active participant in the Administration and Accounting department. They will primarily concentrate on Accounts Payable duties, but will also provide support in a range of accounting areas, including:
- Daily Accounts Payable invoice verification and posting;
- Processing AP payments;
- Vendor statement reconciliation and communication;
- Month-end report processing;
- Backup to other accounting processes;
- Filing and office tasks;
- Data entry, and related clerical duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will have the ability to independently manage multiple tasks with strong organization skills. Good computer and spreadsheet/Excel skills are required. This position requires an excellent attention to accuracy and detail, and excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Post-secondary accounting training or past bookkeeping experience is required.
This is a full time position which includes a full benefits package and competitive salary based on education and experience relevant to this opening.
