The Ministry of Justice has a career opportunity for a self-confident, positive role model to work in Saskatoon at the Saskatoon Provincial Correctional Centre in a permanent full-time Nurse position.  The Ministry of Justice is responsible for providing a fair justice system that upholds the law and protects the rights of all individuals in Saskatchewan; promotes safe and secure communities; and provides legal and justice policy advice to assist government.  

We are seeking a compassionate, respectful and empathetic individual, eager to contribute in a positive way to the challenges of working in a Correctional Centre/ Youth Centre - a professional who will commit to teamwork and collaboration through their effective communication and interpersonal skills.  Our candidate of choice will work with a team of health care professionals, to provide direct male patient nursing care and treatment.  You will maintain accurate patient records, actively promote preventative health measures, respond to medical/psychiatric emergencies with appropriate interventions and assess medical and mental conditions, making referrals as needed.
