Edgewood Forest Products Inc. based in Carrot River, SK is a forest products company that produces stud lumber for the North American housing and construction markets. We currently seek an effective Purchaser to join our financial team. The incumbent will be responsible to work closely with our department leaders as well as a vast quantity of vendors all over the world to perform site purchasing for all spare parts, materials, consumables, and supplies for the plant in accordance with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
The applicant must possess the following skills: be a team player, is able to establish and maintain positive internal and external relationships, have excellent verbal and written communications skills, show strong leadership qualities, is extremely well organized, and must have excellent computer skills with an aptitude for planning ahead.
The ideal candidate will hold either an administrative, business, or accounting diploma, or related experience in finance and administration.
